Football Card Hobby Boxes You Can Buy For Under $30

Sports card collectors come in many types and we all usually collect something a little different. But there is one thing that we all have in common. We love a bargain. Whether it’s spending countless hours searching the internet or rummaging thru stacks of cards at flea markets, yard sales, or card shows, collectors are always out trying to find the best deal possible. Finding deals on single cards to add or complete a collection is great, but if you’re like me, you love to find deals on boxes. In a recent post, I talked about the differences between retail and hobby boxes. but this article is just for football card hobby boxes. I enjoy buying blaster boxes, but sometimes I like to treat myself to a hobby box for the higher chances of scoring better cards. As a budget collector, I’m always looking online to find the best bargain for hobby boxes. There’s actually some good bargains out there. Some are just a few bucks more than a blaster box, but there’s even a couple that are even cheaper or similar in price. Listed below are nine football hobby boxes that you can currently buy for under thirty dollars shipped to your door.

Box Breakdown:

45 Card Base Set

1 Autograph

2 Game-Used Cards

48 Total Cards Per Box

Bottom Line: This is a very good value for the price. The 45 card set included will appeal to set collectors along with gaining the bonus of three “hit” cards. There’s not many big named players in this set, but for a box that goes cheaper than most retail blaster boxes, it certainly would be worth buying a box and trying your luck. You at least get a base set out of it.

2001 Topps XFL – $27

Box Breakdown:

2006 Topps Draft Picks and Prospects – $28

Box Breakdown:

24 Packs Per Box, 5 Cards Per Pack

2 Relic Cards or 1 Relic and 1 Autograph Card Per Box

2014 Upper Deck USA Football- $28

Box Breakdown:

18 Packs Per Box, 12 Cards Per Pack

11 Autographs

2 Game-Worn Jersey Cards

216 Total Cards

Bottom Line: This will be the next box that I purchase. There’s a lot of prospects and a lot of “hit” cards included in this box.  Fourteen hits for only $28 is a low risk in itself so this box is definitely a great value. Especially when a lot of players in this set are still in school so the sky’s the limit.

Box Breakdown:
