Big 3 Basketball to Hold First Draft. Here’s the Entry List

Ice Cube’s Big 3 Basketball league is starting to take form. The league will tip off for its inaugural season on June 25th and it looks like Fox Sports will broadcast the games. The 3 on 3 professional league will feature eight teams and will conduct its first games at the Barclays Center in Brookly, NY. While some of the players have already been announced, the league will fill it’s rosters from a draft that will take place in the upcoming weeks. Here’s a look at the players entered in the draft so far.

Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf – LSU, Played nine seasons in the NBA with the Nuggets, Kings, and Grizzlies.

Kenny Anderson – Georgia Tech, Played fourteen seasons in the NBA for the Nets, Hornets, Blazers, Celtics, SuperSonics, Pacers, Hawks, and Clippers.

Big 3 Basketball

Anderson averaged 12.6 ppg in 858 career NBA games.

 

Marcus Banks – UNLV, Played 12 seasons in the NBA for the Celtics, Timberwolves, Suns, Heat, Raptors, and Hornets.

Keith Bogans – Kentucky, Played twelve seasons in the NBA for the Magic, Bobcats, Rockets, Bucks, Spurs, Bulls, and Nets.

Earl Boykins – Eastern Michigan, Played in NBA for thirteen seasons with the Nets, Cavaliers, Magic, Clippers, Warriors, Nuggets, Bucks, Bobcats, Wizards, and Rockets.

Derrick Byars – Vanderbilt, Played in the NBA for one season with the Spurs.

Josh Childress – Stanford, Played in the NBA for ten seasons with the Hawks, Suns, Nets, and Pelicans.

Brian Cook – Illinois, Played ten seasons in the NBA for the Lakers, Magic, Rockets, Clippers, and Wizards.

Ndudi Ebi – Played three seasons in the NBA with theTimberwolves.

Reggie Evans – Iowa, Played fourteen seasons in the NBA with the Sonics, Nuggets, 76ers, Raptors, Clippers, Nets, and Kings.

Steve Francis – Maryland, Played ten seasons in the NBA with the Rockets, Magic, and Knicks.

Kendall Gill – Illinois, Played sixteen seasons in the NBA for the Hornets, Sonics, Nets, Heat, Timberwolves, Bulls, and Bucks.

Gill averaged 13.4 ppg and had 1,519 steals in his NBA career.

 

Donte Greene – Syracuse, Played nine seasons in the NBA for the Kings.

Shane Heal – Played three years in the NBA for the Timberwolves and Spurs.

Larry Hughes – Saint Louis, Played fourteen seasons in the NBA for the 76ers, Warriors, Wizards, Cavaliers, Bulls, Knicks, Bobcats, and Magic.

Hughes averaged 14.1 ppg in his career and led the NBA in steals in 2005.

 

Mike James – Duquesne, Played thirteen seasons in the NBA for the Heat, Celtics, Pistons, Bucks, Rockets, Raptors, Timberwolves, Hornets, Wizards, Bulls, and Mavericks.

Ivan Johnson – CSU-Bernardino, Played two seasons in the NBA for the Hawks.

Jumaine Jones – Georgia, Played eight seasons in the NBA for the 76ers, Cavaliers, Lakers, Celtics, Bobcats, and Suns.

Voshon Lenard – Minnesota, Played twelve seasons in the NBA with the Heat, Nuggets, Raptors, and Trail Blazers.

Rashad McCants – North Carolina, Played five seasons in the NBA for the Timberwolves, and Kings.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu – George Washington, Played six seasons in the NBA for the Mavericks, Spurs, Raptors, Rockets, and Hornets.

Lawrence Moten – Syracuse, Played three seasons in the NBA for the Grizzlies, and Wizards.

Ronald “Flip” Murray – Shaw, Played twelve seasons in the NBA for the Bucks, Sonics, Cavaliers, Pistons, Pacers, Hawks, Bobcats, and Bulls.

Lee Nailon – TCU, Played eight seasons in the NBA for the Hornets, Knicks, Hawks, Magic, Cavaliers, and 76ers.

Andre Owens – Houston, Played two seasons in the NBA for the Jazz.

Smush Parker – Fordham, Played seven seasons in the NBA for the Cavaliers, Pistons, Suns, Lakers, Heat, and Clippers.

Jamario Moon – Meridian CC, Played seven seasons in the NBA for the Raptors, Heat, Cavaliers, Clippers, and Bobcats.

Ruben Patterson – Cincinnati, Played eleven seasons in the NBA for the Lakers, Sonics, Trail Blazers, Nuggets, Bucks, and Clippers.

J.R. Rider – UNLV, Played nine seasons in the NBA for the Timberwolves, Trail Blazers, Hawks, Lakers, and Nuggets.

Big 3 Basketball

Rider averaged 16.7 ppg in his career and won the NBA slam dunk contest in 1994.

Eddie Robinson – Central Oklahoma, Played five seasons in the NBA for the Hornets, and Bulls.

Brian Scalabrine – USC, Played eleven seasons in the NBA for the Nets, Celtics, and Bulls.

Xavier Silas – Northern Illinois, Played one season in the NBA for the 76ers.

Joe Smith – Maryland, Played twenty one seasons in the NBA for the Warriors, 76ers, Timberwolves, Pistons, Bucks, Nuggets, Bulls, Cavaliers, Thunder, Hawks, Nets, and Lakers.

Latrell Sprewell – Alabama, Played thirteen seasons in the NBA for the Warriors, Knicks, and Timberwolves.

Big 3 basketball

Sprewell was a four time NBA all-star and averaged 18.3 ppg.

DeShawn Stevenson – Played fifteen seasons in the NBA for the Jazz, Magic, Wizards, Mavericks, Nets, and Hawks.

Mike Sweetney – Georgetown, Played four seasons in the NBA for the Knicks, and Bulls.

Etan Thomas – Syracuse, Played nine seasons in the NBA for the Wizards, Thunder, and Hawks.

Hakim Warrick – Syracuse, Played  ten seasons in the NBA for the Grizzlies, Bucks, Bulls, Suns, Hornets, and Bobcats.

James White – Cincinnati, Played three seasons in the NBA for the Spurs, Rockets, and Knicks.

While some players have already been announced, teams will not be complete until after the draft. The Press Box will have the rosters to all teams once the draft has been finalized.
